I don't know whether it's because their design makes them harder to customise or just because they're harder to love but it seems there isn't too much of a pimpin' scene going on for digital cameras.
This Panasonic LX3 is different, though, and I think it looks great. I found it on another website and will happily take it down if it upsets the owner who I can't contact. His name is Jörg Schmidt and he deserves lots of credit for creativity. This doesn't look like an off-the-shelf camera leather job but a custom fit bit of tanned dead animal skin.
